Our Mission
Swedesi started as a personal journey of learning Hindi as a Swede. But it has now evolved into a local Gothenburg community for Indian expats and students to learn Swedish in a stress-free, supportive environment.
Why Gothenburg?
Gothenburg is home to a growing number of Indian professionals, engineers, and students (especially around Chalmers). However, learning Swedish can feel isolating when stuck behind a textbook. We believe that language is best learned through human connection, laughter, and lots of coffee!
Who can join?
Anyone! Whether you are studying SFI-A, attempting to pass TISUS, or you just want to say "En kanelbulle, tack", you are welcome here. Native Swedes are also highly encouraged to join to help out and perhaps learn a bit of Hindi or about Indian culture in return!
